We are seeking an experienced account manager to manage our inside sales customers and Lead Generation program across all business units. This role is critical in nurturing and following up on inbound leads generated from various channels, including website traffic and trade shows. The ideal candidate will excel in addressing and resolving queries from both potential and existing customers, selling new accounts, upgrading and cross-selling existing accounts, renewing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service and support that contributing significantly to our business growth.
- Lead Management and Qualification: Effectively nurture inbound leads from diverse sources, ensuring timely follow-up, initial contact, investigation, and qualification to move prospects through the sales funnel. Work with the sales team to ensure leads are properly qualified and followed up.
- Strategy Development: supporting the business, market directors and premium account managers on implementing comprehensive demand generation strategies to create awareness and drive interest in our products/services. Identify target audiences and determine the most effect channels to reach them.
- Campaign Management: Manage lead generation process from end-to-end, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within budget.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: track, analyze and report on key performance metrics related to demand and lead generation activities. Use the data to make informed decisions and optimize campaigns for better performance.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with existing clients
- Identify new potential clients and create strategies to expand the customer base.
- Understand clients' needs and provide them with tailored solutions.
- Respond timely to all customer request and enquiries
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Set sales targets and work towards achieving them.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Complaint Resolution: Promptly respond to and handle customer complaints, providing effective solutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and competitors.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and standards.
- Provide feedback to the company on market trends and customer preferences.
- Gather competitive intelligence regarding pricing and other information.
- CRM Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database, including customer contact information, notes, and lead details.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with account managers and technical service personnel to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and client feedback.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/technology/chemical engineering, business, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or technical roles, within in the plastics and chemical industry and advantage
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• CRM Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is an asset.
• Technical Sales Expertise: Strong knowledge of plastics and chemical products and their applications preferred
• Exceptional telephone communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to internal and external contacts.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of analytical and statistical concepts.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Proven project management capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and networks.
• Creative and innovative mindset, with a strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• High level of professionalism, with good judgment and decision-making skills.

- The salary range for this position is $75,600 - $94,500. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
