Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for process improvement and precision design? Gelest, a leader in specialty materials for advanced technology applications, is looking for an Ampoule Design & Process Specialist to join our Morrisville team!

πŸ§ͺ What You’ll Do:

As part of our Engineering and Operations team, you’ll work closely with customers and vendors to design ampoules, develop cleaning and fill procedures, and oversee inventory—ensuring seamless production from concept to shipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and refining ampoules to meet customer needs
  • Developing and training on procedures for cleaning, filling, inspection, and repair
  • Managing inventory and maintaining ERP/database systems
  • Scaling up processes in collaboration with engineering for high-volume manufacturing
  • Driving continuous improvement through feedback and process optimization

βœ… What We’re Looking For:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of material construction, chemical compatibility (especially silanes and metal organics)
  • Familiarity with ampoule or cylinder design for microelectronics or chemical industries
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and technical database management
  • Proven ability to lead process development and improvements

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)
  • The salary range for this position is $105,000- $145,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
