The Assistant MDE is responsible for supporting the Mytex Technical Group with internal and external activities.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Create technical documentation as required. Specific areas include test requests, mold requests, product data sheets, manufacturing change notifications, outside lab purchasing orders, FRM-758, etc.
- Create SAP BOM as required by Mytex technical employees such as ZBOM and inspection plan based on FRM-758.
- Maintain high DOD productivity through lab operational support for TEX28V, Injection molding, physical testing and durability evaluation.
- Responsible for coordination of Lab schedule.
- Support Technical team as needed.
- Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.
- Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Training
- Bachelor of Science (Offset: Analytical technician with 7+ years of experience)
- Experience in lab environment with hands on testing. Understanding of plastics industry is a plus.
- Strong Organizational, Verbal and Written skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to self-manage deadlines.
- Ability to professionally and efficiently correspond with leadership via phone and email.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interact in a personable, professional and courteous manner to all.
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Maintenance of Mytex information in a confidential manner.
- Pursue constant improvement of customer service and professional skills.

- Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.
- Professional, well-groomed appearance and attire.
- This position involves working in a business and manufacturing environment. Ability to wear protective safety equipment required.
- The salary range for this position is starting at $65,000 a year or commensurate with experience. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
