Job Purpose

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving and processing customer orders within the SAP system.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Receive & process customer orders, ROMPP orders and stock transfers within SAP.
  • Provide assistance to customers with order changes and/or material issues.
  • Input Information in SAP to create shipping documents for offsite box shipments.
  • Monitor emails sent to customer service and route to proper internal contact.
  • Assist with internal and external questions about shipments and customers.
  • Assist with positing shipments in SAP.
  • Track and communicate carrier or material delays to customers.
  • Responsible for e-filing all customer orders.
  • Support USMCA, gathering information from vendors as well as preparing documents per customers’ requirements at the beginning of the new year.
  • Create RMA's.
  • Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.
  • Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance and attire is advised.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in an office environment.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience in Customer Service
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Strong multi-tasking and phone skills
  • Strong Organizational, Verbal and Written skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage deadlines.

  • The salary range for this position is $19 - $23. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
