The Electrical Engineer interacts daily with maintenance, production, and engineering personnel to ensure the design, development, and maintenance of existing and new equipment meets or exceeds company needs and standards.

- Work with a technician to analyze maintenance problems and equipment/parts failures
- Design and propose upgrades to existing equipment
- Develop and maintain current electrical drawings and new drawings for various projects
- Work with or lead a team during repair, installation, and modification of new and existing equipment
- Interface with equipment manufacturer representative
- Supervise contractors when necessary
- Must be able to maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi
- Other duties as assigned by department manager

Education:
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- Four years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge:
- Programming Mitsubishi PLC and Siemens PLC , preferred
- Programming Allen Bradley HMI's (PanelView, PanelView Plus, RSView)
- Knowledgeable with both DC and AC drives (SSD, Siemens, V-Tech)
Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in programming Allen Bradley PLCs (Control Logix, Compact Logix and Micro Logix)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time
