Job Purpose

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving Mytex Polymers applications and systems with the guidance from the IT Manager.  Provide support on technical issues, both on-site and remote, do project work as necessary, work on issues presented through IT help desk tickets, and provide local technical support for SAP and other software applications to conform to business requirements.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Maintain and Support Networking Infrastructure, Servers (physical and virtual), VOIP Phones, Printers and Workstations
  • Responsible for Imaging, Provisioning and Distributing Employee Workstations
  • Administration of MS Active Directory Environment
  • Support and Leverage ERP System (SAP) to Optimize Business Processes
  • Monitor and Assist on IT Ticket Resolutions
  • Daily review of system backups, replication and copies.
  • Troubleshoot and provide remote support to external plants and employees working remote.
  • Support and Ongoing Education to End Users
  • Contribute to proper documentation throughout department including policies, procedures, support ticket, etc.
  • Maintain and Ensure Protection of Assets using Asset Management System
  • Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
  • Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of corporate IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Cisco and Fortinet a plus
  • Experience and knowledge with SAP is a plus.
  • Systems infrastructure knowledge helpful.
  • Help Desk Support experience.
  • Exposure to working in highly secure environments helpful.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, purchasing, production, customer service and logistics process flows.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
