Safely perform a wide range of physical activities within Compression Molding including blending, cold press, hot press, ram, and secondary operations.
- Maintain accurate work documentation, both written & electronic.
- Use commonsense to safely run Compression Molding equipment according to SOPs and JSAs.
- Safely meeting the production schedule while producing quality blends or moldings.
- Safely clean, inspect, mark, and prepare tooling.
- Read and understanding run sheets and order packs and secure material and equipment needed or production run. Cycle count if needed.
- Initiate and support activities to minimize down time and improve quality.
- Inspection, post production finishing and proper movement of products.
- Support Stable Ops and continuous improvement.

- Working with others as a team to accomplish shared goals.
- Communicate information (at shift hand off, via logs, etc.).
- Contribute towards meeting goals by being customer centric.
- Identify problems and contribute to finding and implementing solutions.
- Perform 6S activities and general preventative maintenance that effectively preserves the work area(s) and equipment for future production.
- Perform additional duties as required.

- High school level or equivalent reading, writing, mathematical and comprehension skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend MSDS sheets, SOPs and JSAs.
- Experience using computer control system necessary along with the ability to run computer driven equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and be physically able to perform work assignments including heavy lifting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the use of scales for weight, tape measure, calipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment is required.
- A forklift license (or the ability to obtain one quickly).
- Committed to the “injury free concept”.
- Knowledge of machinery and tooling, including their uses, repair, and general maintenance.
- Physically able to perform work assignments including heavy lifting.
- The salary for this position is $22.72. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
