Job Purpose

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for conducting analyses of raw materials and in-process and finished products, in order to maintain product quality.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Perform product testing of raw material samples and products. Methods include ash test, volatile test, check pellet length, appearance, hardness, gravity, etc.
  • Assist in development of quality control methods
  • Analyzes data, track results and enter in QC and SPC databases
  • Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees
  • Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • Professional skill and knowledge of manufacturing process of our product.
  • Ability to professionally and efficiently correspond with leadership via phone and email.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact in a personable, professional and courteous manner to all.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Maintenance of Mytex information in a confidential manner.
  • Pursue constant improvement of customer service and professional skills.
