Job Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting, implementing, documenting and training to CLEANPART US processes to ISO documented procedures.  This includes design of new equipment, fixtures, support sales, operations and process engineers with NPI development, supporting facilities with CAP-EX projects, and managing projects.  This position also requires knowledge and understanding of process equipment, trouble shooting, equipment improvements, basic CNC robotic programming and Solid Works/AutoCAD.


Principal Accountabilities
  • Design, build and implement new equipment, fixtures and tools used by operations and engineering. 
  • Work with operations on tool installation, PM procedures, equipment calibration, qualification and facility design.
  • Follow through on “Design of Experiments”, perform the experiments and support the development of conclusions and recommendations from those DOE’s to Cleanpart US management. 
  • Perform “Failure Analysis” on customer and internal Cleanpart processes, equipment and parts using internal inspection and outside labs.
  • Always maintain, adhere, and promote environmentally sound and safe working processes and practices. 
  • Communicate directly with Cleanpart engineers and plant managers and be able to support Cleanpart Sales in customer meetings as may be requested. 
  • Be able to travel and support all Cleanpart locations when necessary
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • BS in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science) 
  • 5+ year’s technical experience with equipment design and engineering. 
  • 2D/3D CAD/CAM software experience, preferably Solid Works.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel software programs
  • Knowledge and basic experience MS Access, PowerPoint and SPC software programs
  • Must be proficient in English and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
