What You Will Do...
  • Proficient with Programing Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC’s
  • Proficient with Programing Allen Bradley HMI’s (Panelview Plus, Studio)
  • Experience with Parker and AB AC drives
  • Experience running improvement projects
  • Proficient in AutoCad
  • Excellent communication and mathematical skills
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools
  • Experience Trouble Shooting manufacturing equipment
  • Work with a technician to analyze maintenance problems and equipment/parts failures
  • Design and propose upgrades to existing equipment
  • Develop and maintain current electrical drawings and new drawings for various projects
  • Work with or lead a team during repair, installation, and modification of new and existing equipment
  • Interface with equipment manufacturer representative
  • Supervise contractors when necessary
  • Must be able to maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi
  • Other duties as assigned by department manager

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Will require office work (AutoCad, drawing, design) and production floor work (trouble shooting problems, calibrations, programming)
  • Willing to work in a group of both engineers and technicians
  • Required to work occasional off hours to support production process and equipment trouble shooting.
  • Support 24/7 production
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional PPE as required
  • Position requires use of an air purifying respirator which may affect some styles of facial hair
  • Candidate must be able to pass a respirator clearance physical
  • Correctable eyesight required
  • Must be comfortable working around moving equipment
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting
  • Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching
  • Ability to stand for extended period
  • Dexterity manipulation required for use of hand tools and light equipment
  • Must be able to push/pull material using pallet jack
  • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up of 50 lbs.
  • Moderate exposure to temperature change in non-climate-controlled environment with potential of working near heated processes

The salary range for this position is $83,920 - $125,800. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
