Job Purpose

The Commercial Project Specialist supports various Commercial Excellence (CX) projects within the Advanced Solutions Business Group (ASBG) Americas that supports the implementation of digital sales tools to modernize processes that make sales and delivery more efficient. The specialist may work specifically for a business unit support building up CX capabilities, or across businesses on a specific solution. The Specialist will work with corporate and regional IT/Business Transformation division to align with the corporate direction.


Principal Accountabilities
  • Works as central resource to implement strategic digital related projects to local businesses related to commercial activities, that has been agreed between Planning and local business.
  • Works to utilize the knowledge obtained through implementation and share with broader ASBG to drive consistency
  • Works to understand the various processes around commercial activities to identify opportunities of efficiency
  • Works to obtain knowledge of the strategic solutions to be utilized within the region and/or corporate wide (Salesforce, e-commerce, Knowde, EDI, etc.)
  • Works to assure implementation of solutions are compliant with applicable laws such as privacy acts.
  • Responsible for keeping up with cutting edge digitalization technology that may bring efficiency and/or generate value to the ASBG Americas.

Special Features:

  • Domestic Business travel is expected (30%)
  • Short assignment to specific business/location may happen depending on scope of implementation projects


Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience in process mapping on IT tool implementation is a plus
  • Experience in commercial or operation activity is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
