Mitsubishi Chemical Group is seeking to join a Customer Service Manager team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results in Chesapeake, VA. The Customer Service Manager is responsible for coordinating the needs and requirements of the Sales team while overseeing a staff of customer service representatives to ensure timely and appropriate customer support is being provided. This support includes but is not limited to quotes, order entry, color match requests, product and production responses, and warranty requests. The manager also ensures that the customer service team is supporting the sales team with any customer order information. This role also includes coordinating of sales requests with production planning to optimize production, inventories, and meet customer expectations. Come be a part of this dynamic team!!

- Manage Customer Service department
- Liaison for Customer Service, Sales, and Production teams
- Manage inventory produced locally and imported by the Company
- Order entry
- Manage export orders
- Set orders for shipping
- Provide, process, and review internal and external customer quotes
- Liaise with regional sales managers as well as contracted independent sales representatives
- Resolve billing issues, warranty questions and problems
- Supply general information from cold website and phone inquiries
- Coordinate the Sales department’s needs and requirements regarding pricing, shipping, inventory, production, and custom jobs
- Coordinate special requests regarding shipping, color match, warranty periods, and quality complaints with the appropriate departments
- 4-year College Degree, Business, Management preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
- Seven years of experience in Customer Service and Sales
- Prior management experience desired
- Thorough knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Thorough knowledge of customer service software, databases, and CRM tools
- Extensive knowledge of SAP
- Manage import/ export processes
- Working knowledge of inventory process

The salary range for this position is $72,960 - $109,440. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
