The Mitsubishi Chemical America Marketing Technical Center (MTC) seeks a dedicated Engineering Project Manager for a portfolio of projects conducted in collaboration with participating Mitsubishi group companies across North America. The Engineer will be based at the MTC Plastics & Composites Processing Center of Excellence in Mesa Arizona. The Engineer will engage with cross functional project teams to manage work plans, budgets, schedules, resource requirements, technical reports and stage gate communications. Executing projects on time and on budget will require the engineer to creatively design project plans and experiments which may utilize local, remote, and 3rd party equipment and resources. The key deliverable for this position is completing projects on time and on budget. The MTC is a new organization with new business processes still under development. There will be opportunities for clearly defined quick win projects, and challenges with complex multi-material innovations. The detailed responsibilities include:
Planning: Create project budgets, work breakdown structures, resource plans, rough order estimates, task prioritization, and monitoring and integration plans for multiple technical engineering projects
Execution: Schedule, coordinate, and supervise experiments, modeling, analysis, and production trials according to project plan
