Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Division is seeking a IT/ICT Support Specialist based in Mesa, AZ to join a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results. The mission of this individual is to keep the existing ICT infrastructure performance, efficiency, and security at a high level. You will face the internal users and solve their ICT problems via the Service Desk, participate in local and global ICT meeting and projects, and be responsible for some specifically assigned ICT infrastructure areas. MCAM is a manufacturing services company.  We service markets including aerospace, medical, semiconductor and other markets.  Our capabilities include carbon fiber processing, compounding, molding, extrusion, machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection.  We provide material solutions, engineering support, stock shapes, near net shapes, precision components, and assemblies.

What You Will Do...

  • Act as an MCAM Service Desk 1st and 2nd line support.
  • Troubleshoot ICT problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software faults in your responsible area in a reasonable time frame.
  • Provide relevant documentation for Service Desk.
  • Participate and support in local and global ICT projects.
  • Participate in rollouts of hard/software - new installations – networking topics.
  • Install operating system and application software for system setup and customize as required
  • Configure hardware, software, and networking to provide for efficient and effective network performance and data security
  • Enter users and their network privileges onto the network and provides ongoing user support
  • Keep abreast of latest developments in computer network technology by reading technical manuals, technical literature, attending workshops, seminars and training classes
  • Train users in application software and hardware usage; develop and program applications software; install and maintain network hardware and stand-alone microcomputer software and hardware; install and maintain communications links to mainframe computers; direct support staff responsible for user support, hardware installation, data entry and other support functions
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Will Have...

  • Professional degree in Computer Science or the equivalent experience in coursework and in the field.
  • Foundational to intermediate level of expertise.
  • General view on ICT
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Possess a team player mindset
  • Willingness to travel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systems and end user products
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems
  • Working Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking concepts
  • Working Knowledge of Virtualized environments
