Mitsubishi Chemical Group-APOLIC Division is seeking a Lamination Line Operator to join a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results. The Lamination Line Operator ensures proper materials are used to meet quality standards. The position is responsible for operation and control of processes as assigned and monitoring and operating process control equipment. Come be a part of this dynamic team!!

What You Will Do...
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment
  • Keep work area clean
  • Adhere to safety and environmental rules
  • Document the use of materials and time required in the production of materials and products
  • Control and operate equipment safely
  • Maintain quality standards by inspection of materials, control of process, and continuous sampling and testing of both product and process
  • Use scientific rules and methods to solve problems
  • Provide value to our customers through effective operations of assigned work area and support to the facility
  • Observe gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machinery is working properly
  • Replenish inventory as needed
  • Support supervisors and team in training and cross-training efforts
  • Position requires use of an air purifying respirator
  • Must be able to maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi
  • Other duties as assigned by department manager
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, air purifying respirator, and additional PPE as required
  • Position requires use of an air purifying respirator which may affect some styles of facial hair
  • Candidate must be able to pass a respirator clearance physical
  • Correctable eyesight required
  • Must be comfortable working around moving equipment
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting
  • Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching
  • Ability to stand for extended period
  • Dexterity manipulation required for use of hand tools and light equipment
  • Must be able to push/pull material using pallet jack
  • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up of 50 lbs
  • Moderate exposure to temperature change in non-climate-controlled environment with potential of working near heated processes

The salary range for this position is $15.00 per hour - $16.00 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
