Who Are We...

MCAM is a manufacturing services company. We service markets including aerospace, medical, semiconductor and other markets. Our capabilities include carbon fiber processing, compounding, molding, extrusion, machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection. We provide material solutions, engineering support, stock shapes, near net shapes, precision components, and assemblies.

Your Mission:

Drive the Product Stewardship Process for Americas.  Ensure compliance to all global product regulations including Substances of Concern, Food Contact, Medical LSG, Transportation and other industry specific and regional regulations and standards.  Review and approve product changes through the Technical Release Processes from the Compliance perspective.

What You Will Do...

  • Stay Current on all country and industry specific regulations for Product Safety and Product Compliance including EU Reach, Prop 65, RoHS, TSCA, Food Contact (FDA, EU, and Chinese, 3A Dairy, NSF), and other regulations relating to substances of concern.
  • Prepare statements or declarations for MCG Advanced Materials product compliance for the Americas including MediTECH, Mexico, and Engineering Solutions
  • Author and manage product safety data sheets (SDS)
  • Align globally for process, product, raw material, and supplier changes.
  • Ensure proper document control of all statements, declarations and SDS as published on our company website.
  • Provide employee and customer training relating to the requirements of the regulations and standards as needed.
  • Act as the Compliance Office and / or Manager in approving technical releases and New Product Introductions (NPI) and when requested by Customer / Supplier Self Assessments.
  • Continually improve the BES process to ensure risks and changes are managed and customers are informed of our statements and Declarations of Compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Have...

  • Bachelors Degree within Science or Engineering; preferred.
  • Recommended 5 years related Quality, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, or polymer processing experience.
  • PC skills, MS Office, M3 ERP system.
  • Good communication skills both oral and written.
  • Project and change management skills.
  • Good organization and document control skills.
  • Regional business awareness preferred.
